Speedy first opened its doors in 1977 on Wallgate and has since grown to become one of the UK’s largest hire providers with a network of over 200 depots across the UK and Ireland.
To mark the milestone, Speedy held a celebration event on Tuesday 12th September with the Mayor and Mayoress of Wigan in attendance along with Speedy’s Chief Executive Russell Down, who unveiled a commemorative plaque.

Players from the Wigan Warriors and Wigan Athletic also came along signing autographs and pictures for customers.
